On the past we had seen many extensions that helps you to save some ink while print by avoiding graphic, ads or whatever you think that is not necessary to be printed in the sheet. You can easily edit the web page before printing it out. Similarly today we have a bookmarklet that allows you to highlight any content on the webpage and just by on-click it removes the content and prints only what you want.
Printliminator is a handy little bookmarklet for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Printliminator allows you to highlight a webpage and select only the elements which you wish to print. You can install Printliminator in seconds by just clicking and dragging it into your browser’s toolbar.
Once you’re done with the bookmarklet on your bookmarks bar. Now before you print a web page. Go to the web page and click the bookmarklet. It brings up a small sticky note kind of interface with 4 options.
The 4 options are, you can remove all graphics from the web page in one click, send the exact web page to printer, Apply print stylesheet (which makes the web page in a plain white background and only with the content text visible. You can also edit the blocks hovering the content). And finally a undo option.
Watch a quick demo video to understand better.
