If you have been playing email ping pong often, you must have come across or be a recipient of Reply all email messages. You can easily disable e-mail message recipients from using Reply All or Forward options from your Outlook program. When the person hits the reply to all, its an awkward moment to the whole distribution list.
The Microsoft Outlook program has a free cool NoReplyAll Outlook Add-In that adds a few buttons to the Outlook ribbon to prevent people from replying to all the recipients of your message or forwarding it. The add-in also includes a check for common email errors, such as omitting attachments or subject lines. Works with Outlook 2007 and 2010.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed the NoReply all outlook addin, its a light weight addin that adds few buttons to your outlook ribbon. Once you’ve installed, restart the outlook program.
Now when you compose an email, you could see new buttons on the right side of the ribbon. These buttons allows you to disable Reply-All, Forwarding, and even Reply to you options. You can simply click on them to disable the option which you require.
It only works on recipients who are part of your Exchange domain. If you feel you need to hit the button everytime, you can permanently disable the option from the tools > options menu. It adds a tab called NoreplyAll options which you can find under tools > options menu.
Under it, you can check in to disable replyall for all received messages, disable forward for all received messages etc.
