HTML5 is the new era which we live in, throwing all the flash content and we have just began with new HTML5 generation. From the Google, the app named ‘Swiffy’ an experimental application of Google labs that lets you to convert flash content to HTML5.
Swiffy from Google labs converts SWF files to HTML5, allowing you to reuse Flash content on devices without a Flash player. This app is developed by Google engineer, part of mobile advertising team. You can convert Flash games, embedded graphic images, animations and more.
All you have to do is, just upload the .SWF flash file and let Swiffy take care of rest. It converts the swf flash file into HTML5 to the latest open standards.Swiffy currently supports a subset of SWF 8 and ActionScript 2.0, and the output works in all Webkit browsers such as Chrome and Mobile Safari. If possible, exporting your Flash animation as a SWF 5 file might give better results.
Once you’ve uploaded the swf flash file and click convert, so that it generates the HTML5 version of your uploaded content. You can simply save the HTML file that is generated and include it on your website using an <iframe> tag.
You can look out for Swiffy examples here. The output from Swiffy can be downloaded in HTML5 version or just preview the output directly at the specific URL which will be displayed. You can simply right click ‘Save as’ to download the HTML5 version of your flash content.
It also provides a QR code to preview the Swiffy conversion on your mobile device.
