YouTube has renovated their search functionality with some additional features for easy searching with more customizable options. As you all know, YouTube is a online video streaming website where people upload more than 24 hours of video per minute and Ultimately a powerful searching is needed. So today, YouTube has revamped their some of their search functionality while adding a new layer to help users discover videos.
YouTube has added a new feature to their search functionality “Filter & Explore” on above their search options layer. You can easily restrict their searches by certain types (channels, movies etc) or sort their results using factors other than relevance (like view count etc). Thus, instead of manually editing the search parameters, you simply take advantage of the suggestions with just one click.
Filtering helps you restrict your search based on specific categories. You can choose any of the Filter options above to refine your search.
Wondering how to sort by Relevance, Upload count, View count, and Rating? Because these are the most used search tools, we’ve made them more easily accessible here, on the right side of every search page.
