GMDesk is an application that lets you run GMail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Maps, Google Reader and Picasa Web Albums in a stand-alone application to do all your mail handling, calendar event reading etc
Once you’ve installed GMDesk, you can simply open different apps and use Alt+tab to switch between apps easily and quickly. GMDesk offers an easy menu as well as keyboard shortcuts to switch between different Google services, and you can specify what default service you want the application to start with. It also supports Google Apps access as well.
By default, it opens up with the Gmail interface, from the drop down menu of GMdesk, you can select the Google services such as Calendar, docs, maps etc. You can also set the default opening services in preferences. More options, avoids much web browser clutter. Better useful for people who deal with more of Gmail and Google apps services.
