Whenever you land on a wrong URL address, you get to see a error page or so called 404 page not found error. If you’re a webmaster or blogger, then you might know the importance of 404 page not found error. When ever a visitor sees a 404 page not found error, he/she immediately goes off from the website or webpage. So its ultimately losing your readers and visitors to your webpage. If you’re little smart, you can optimize your 404 error page with some related post from your website else you can directly send them to your website homepage with a simple redirect plugin named ‘404-to-start’
404-to-start WordPress Plugin allows you to send everyone who visits the 404 page not found error directly to start page to overcome problems with search engines (avoids external bad links) and also it acts reader friendly.
