Now this addon for Chrome allows you to password lock your entire chrome browser. You can easily protect your Chrome browser with a password. Just install the extension, set the password and lock it.
Simple Startup Password extension for Chrome allows you to lock your chrome browser with simple password. No password = no access to Google Chrome. A wrong password closes the browser. It protect your browser from use by unauthorized persons. Each time you start the browser will need this password.
You can change, set the new password from the options panel of Simple Startup password. Go to tools > extensions > simple startup password > options > set or change the password. The main drawback here is there is no “I forgot my password” option.
