FTP Client for Firefox with FireFTP addon

December 24, 2010

in Firefox

One of the best FTP plugin for Firefox is FireFTP, basically these FTP clients are used to transfer files to the host internet. There are many free FTP clients such as Filezila, SmartFTP etc. But if you need the FTP client inside Firefox browser, then I would strongly recommend FireFTP addon.

FireFTP is a free, secure, cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox which provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers. Once you’ve installed the FireFTP addon in Firefox, then you can easily upload and download files from your FTP servers. You don’t require any Windows applications for connecting FTP servers. You can use it very well inside the Firefox browser.

FireFTP also includes more advanced features such as directory comparison, syncing directories while navigating, SFTP, SSL encryption, search/filtering, integrity checks, remote editing, drag & drop files to upload and download, file hashing, and much more!

As it is a cross platform addon, it works on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux. It’s completely free.
