Firefox Style RSS Reader for Chrome with RSS Live Links

Unlike Firefox, Google Chrome doesn’t support natural RSS feeds. But Few months back, we had seen an chrome extension that suppots natural rss feeds in Google Chrome. Similar to that, today we have another extension for Chrome which suppots RSS feeds in Firefox style. If you’re a Firefox user, then you might have used ‘Live Bookmarks’ feature in Firefox, similar to that, Google Chrome has an extension for it.

RSS Live Links for Chrome does what “Live Bookmarks” feature does to Firefox. You can read your feeds’ headlines directly from a menu-style pop-up without having to go to the home page or a specialized reader or you can use the “Real Live Bookmarks” option to have a bookmark folder for each feed with regularly updated contents.

Features of RSS Live Links :

  • Automatic visual and audible notification of updates to subscribed feeds.
  • Menu-style pop-up list of subscribed feeds, with visual distinction between new, unread, and read feeds.
  • Click on a feed to see a list of its items, with visual distinction between new, unread, and read items.
  • Configurable “visual distinction” options for each “seen-state”.
  • Bulk open actions.
  • Keyboard shortcuts for navigating feeds and items
