Normally when you download some unknown audio file formats from the internet, it doesn’t properly play in your media players. Also it will throw errors such as no audio codec found or audio codec missing. So basically these files need audio codec to play the sound. So if the audio codec is missing, then you won’t be able to hear the sound from your media player.
