Normally when you download some unknown audio file formats from the internet, it doesn’t properly play in your media players. Also it will throw errors such as no audio codec found or audio codec missing. So basically these files need audio codec to play the sound. So if the audio codec is missing, then you won’t be able to hear the sound from your media player.

this is one of the coolest tool….
I am using this codec for my windows media player since it didn’t support flv files. I didn’t see much difference in quality of other formats. did you?
No. I use VLC as my default.
