Wikipedia is one of the major source of information on the Internet. Atleast twice a day I land up on Wikipedia to gather some information. Can you imagine the traffic numbers for Wikipedia ? Wikipedia article traffic statistics will display how much traffic a Wikipedia page has got.

Wikipedia Article Traffic Statistics is a simple web service that helps you to find out how many visitors had visited a particular Wikipedia page on particular year and month. This gives you an overview of Wikipedia traffic statistics.

Suppose if you’ve created a page on Wikipedia and wanted to know how many visits it got over months ? then you can use this tool. All you need to do is, enter the title of a Wikipedia page and select the month and year and then get the report.

I just searched for the traffic report on title keyword ‘Blog’. You can select the language and then enter the title of Wikipedia page and then year/month. The numbers which is in drop down list like ‘201010’ ‘201009’ ‘201008’ means 2010 year, 10th month. 2010 year, 09 month etc.

With the help of this tool, you can compare two Wikipedia pages and find out which one has got popular. For example, Is Britney Spears more popular than Brittany? Is Asia Carrera more popular than Asia? How many people looked at the article on Santa Claus in December?
