Like button for twitter with LikeMyTweets

There is a Like button on Facebook, now there is a like button for Twitter too. Sometimes your followers might like your tweets but they don’t need to Retweet and show that they’ve liked your tweet. Instead, Just a simple like button below your tweet will make a difference and you can find out who likes your tweets.

LikeMyTweets is a simple twitter app that posts a like it link on the every tweet you post. Once you’ve authorized your twitter account using OAuth method, post a tweet from any twitter client, your tweets will be modified by likemytweets and it will add a like it link to the end of your tweet. You can customize, how you want to your tweet and like it link to be displayed through settings page.

Once you post a tweet with a like it link on it, your followers can click on the link to like the tweet. You will be notified with a DM when a user likes your tweet. If you don’t want to recieve the DM, then you can switch off via settings panel.

Finally on your Likemytweets dashboard, you can view all the tweets and no of likes each tweet has got.

Interesting Post Srivathsan. I have learned something new about twitter. Earlier I was reading about some other changes on twitter. Do you know how long twitter has had a like button?

Seems like the star feature already built into Twitter is a pretty good way to signify that you like a tweet.

I think they are bringing out a new version of twitter pretty soon, maybe they will add the ‘Like’ as a new feature- Thanks Grant
