Few days back Twitter has released their official Twitter button for blogs and websites. Using this button you can share easily on twitter. The customizations are also very easy such as adding two usernames for tweet and buttons with and without counter etc. Now they have officially released their Twitter button bookmarklet that lets you to share links from any webpage.

Bookmarklet is a small Javascript which is stored as a URL of a bookmark in a web browser or as a hyperlink on a web page. They are designed to add one-click functionality to a browser or web page. When clicked, a bookmarklet performs some function, one of a wide variety such as a search query or data extraction.

The main use of this Twitter bookmarklet is, what if you go to a site that doesn’t have a Tweet Button? Tweet Button Bookmarklet that allows you to tweet a link with your own commentary from anywhere on the web. You just need to drag and drop the Bookmarklet into your browser’s bookmark bar. It automatically shortens the url.

Go to this Twitter Button Bookmarklet page and drag the “Share on Twitter” link to your bookmark bar on any browser. If you have any issues in doing this, drop in comments below.
