If you’re a podcasts lover, then finding fresh podcasts daily on the huge internet would be a difficult task and also when ever you want to watch the podcasts again, it will be tough to search for it. So, a simple open source tool named ” gPodder ” helps you to search, download and manage podcasts for free. gPodder is a open source podcasts downloader that supports Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and Maemo (Nokia Internet tablets such as N800, N810 & N900)
gPodder is a podcast client that finds fresh podcasts, downloads and also manage all your podcasts feeds. All you need to do is, just put the Feeds url and gPodder will automatically download all the episodes. You can also transfer it easily to your iPod, usb devices etc.
For windows devices, you can directly download and install the gPodder, for linux systems you need to run the command: sudo apt-get install gpodder. Once you’ve downloaded, you can download the subscriptions from your my.gpodder.org web service otherwise you can also add podcasts through feed url.
It supports RSS, YouTube, Atom and Soundcloud feeds and also easy to use interface with resume download feature. Altogether it is free tool to download, manage and transfer podcasts for free.
