If you want to experience how users from China surf the web, then you need to try China Channel Firefox add-on that gives internet user outside China to surf the web as if they were in China. Why should we use China Channel Plugin ? We should try it out just to see how citizens in countries with Internet censorship have to struggle with hamstrung browsing.
How this China Channel Plugin works ? Actually it reroutes your IP through China, allowing you to surf the web as a Chinese citizen. When you click through a banned site and that’s it. You lose your browsing privileges for 15 minutes. But luckily, in this version, you can just reopen the browser with a newly assigned IP.
Once you install the ChinaChannel plugin on your Firefox browser, you will see a Go button below the toolbar. Once you click on GO, you will see the page and from the drop down menu on the toolbar, Click on China Channel and Click GO again. You can see your IP address and location changed.

Once the IP and location is changed, you will feel the real web surfing as if you were in china, blocking websites and you will not be able to use the internet for another 15 mins. But luckily you can click GO button again and surf the web.
