Many of you might have annoyed by this stupid message which appears in Google maps, when you zoom to a particular place, then it will throw an message “No images available at that zoom level” or “We don’t have imagery at this zoom level”, both are same infact. So how to avoid these messages when zooming into Google maps ?
On the previous post, we had seen ‘What’s Around Here?‘ feature at labs section, in the same labs section we also have a feature called ‘Smart Zoom’ which makes sure that you won’t get that message anymore. To enable features in Google map labs section, check out the previous post.
Smart Zoom feature in Google maps will check in advance what imagery exists and ensure that you can’t zoom in beyond it. No more you will get these kind of irritating messages, rather you would be only be able to zoom in to a level where images are available.
Go to maps.google.co.in, click on the labs icon on the top right side of the page, enable “Smart Zoom” feature and zoom it with out any stupid messages.

That’s a really nice tip. I’ve had the ‘No Image’ error a lot!
