This is an useful extension for those who use the Twitter site to manage their account and follow the stream. But now, most people use Twitter clients which automatically refresh the stream from time to time.

yeah i do agree, but it would be very useful for those who use twitter web interface and also on Conferences that projects twitter stream using hashtags, this extensions would auto refresh.

I would rather suggest use some desktop related apps like Seesmic or Tweetdeck which auto refresh timeline…

Yes, This extension may be helpful for projecting certain hashtags on the screen on conferences. Many times they use the default twitter search where they need to refresh it everytime.
