Google docs is a web based app where you can work on your documents, spreadsheet, presentation etc. To access Google docs you need a web browser. But here we’ve an application that can use Google docs to synchronize files from desktop. But in a Notepad-style application.
Nocs is an open source cloud-enabled Windows Notepad tool that synchronizes docs files from desktop. It utilizes the Google Document List API for synchronizing text documents with Google Docs.
It doesn’t do anything great, just you can access Google docs from desktop in a notepad environment. Once you’ve downloaded Nocs, then install it. Then open Nocs, it will prompt you to enter your Google username and password to access your Google docs account.
Now enter your Google account details and hit ok. You can see the Nocs editor opened, you can work on it like ordinary notepad file with customizing the font, color, auto save, browse files from docs account and save it. Once you save it from the Nocs editor, it automatically gets saved in your Google docs account. You can access it from anywhere.
