Normally when you need to send Google Map URL to someone, its really lengthy. All these days, you might be using other external url shortening service like bit.ly or tinyurl to shorten Google maps url, now throw away all that. You have a built-in URL shortening for Google Maps.
Previously we had seen
Google has integrated their URL shortening service (goo.gl) into Google maps, it can shorten links directly from inside maps.google.com. This url shortening service is still in labs feature of Google maps, so just activate it from the labs button on top right.
Once you’ve enabled the shorten url service, now explore Google maps and when you need to send the link to someone, just click on the link button. It automatically shortens to the built-in Goo.gl url shortening service.
