On the other day we had seen TypeWith.me which is an online collaboration tool to work on documents in real time. Today we have another similar kind of tool to work on text files in real time. Working on real time with colleague will make the work finish easier.
Notapipe is an online collaboration tool to edit text files in real time. Upto 3 users can work on the same file with integrated chat system. The tool supports syntax highlighting for each document type and allows multiple revisions.
Each user will have different color of text to calculate the amount of work done by them. Everything can be customized easily. You have search bar, edit tools like cut,copy and paste and also you can import documents from hard drive.

I usually work with web-based applications like http://www.showdocument.com
I use it for sharing my designs and documents with partners and clients,
but i guess it can used for other purposes too. If you’re looking for a free solution you should check it out.
