You might have used Notepad, a widely used application. but despite Microsoft introducing windows 7 etc, they are not making any improvements in the notepad application. It has been same since the days of windows 98. If you want some other alternative to notepad, here today we have a portable lightweight text editor called ” Charny Notepad”
Charny text editor is an advanced and powerful text editor which is fast and easy to use. It has a decent user interface with all good features like bold text, italics, colors, line-based view, tabbed view, alignment, justification etc.
Features of Charny Text Editor –

2. Line Number – can be used for HTML, JS and XML editors.

These are the features of Charny notepad, and i feel it is same like notepad ++ but it is lightweight and portable. So it will be very useful.

this text editor seems to be a nice one as the features of this are quite impressive, and this is light weight also, the size of this application is too good, it think ti will take little ram space while working on it
