Before disclosing about the Facebook client, let me tell you about Silverlight. Silverlight is an cross-browser implementation by Microsoft. Mainly, Silverlight helps in delivering the next generation of media experiences and Rich Interactive Applications for the web. This time, when Microsoft released their Silverlight 4 (developer’s version), they released the fancy Facebook client too.
Wow, After using the Facebook app by Microsoft with sliverlight strength is just awesomeness. There is nothing to teach on how to use it, because already you have an Facebook account :P Then, I’m going to share the features and some screenshots on how it looks. To be precise, it is visually stunning and user-friendly environment.
First of all, You need to have Microsoft’s Silverlight 4 in your PC.

It will ask you for installation, accept the terms and Install it on your PC.
Features of Fancy Facebook Client :
1. It has very smooth navigation.
2. It has cool photo grids intergrated into your news feed.
3. It also has a photo uploading tool to replace Facebook’s normal uploading tool.
4. Viewing photos is one of the major strengths of Silverslight.
5. You can view your news feed, friend list feeds, profiles, and even your inbox.
6. You can also view a list of upcoming events.
Only one drawback is, the app doesn’t support Facebook chat. who needs Facebook chat ? it sucks. If you need them, then you can use it on your browser. The application is still in a developer preview, so there might be few minor bugs. But, seeing it overall, it simple excellent.
The Microsoft Silverlight 4 Beta Client for Facebook is free and requires Windows or Mac OS X with Microsoft Silverlight to use.
