I’m an Orkut addict and recently became Facebook addict too.. I love orkut because of its themes and colorful interface, moreover the new version of orkut has colorful interface with option of switching between colors. So thought why shouldn’t facebook look like that ? with stunning colors and designs. Now you can customize your facebook profile with beautiful layouts from PageRage.
PageRage is the first web application that allows Facebook users to place graphic layouts right on top of their existing profile.
No HTML or CSS coding knowledge is needed. Simply install Yontoo Layers into your browser and in just seconds you will have access to hundreds of graphic styles, colors and themes to choose from music, movie, floral patterns, emo and dark themes, sports, or tropical layouts.
Once the plug-in is installed, select a layout and the software will load the artwork for you. The installation takes less than a minute and works with both Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.
Why do we need Yontoo Layers ?
This is a technical requirement that creates the appearance of having made changes to the underlying website. The actual layouts appear in your web browser and have no direct effect on your Facebook profile underneath. In simple – Yontoo Layers creates a virtual layer over your browser window.
All you need to do is –
1. Install Yontoo Layers (How to Install it ? – Go here)
2. Log into your Facebook account. You must log-in to Facebook first before choosing a layout.
3. Now go to Pagerage.com and browse through the available layouts to find the one you want.
4. Click the select button on the desired layout. It should say “Success!”
5. Return to your Facebook Profile and refresh the page. Your layout will now display on your Facebook page.

Yep, PageRage is really terrific! I’ve tried one or two of the other services and nothing comes close. I guess you just have to get your friends to install it too so they can see your layout – that shouldn’t be too hard, once they see how nice it looks :)
