This may be old news for some people who uses MSN regularly, I’m not sure that how many are aware of Microsoft’s New Social Networking siteWindows Live Planet. It’s an online Network that helps you to connect with your friends, make new friends and chat with them online.

Windows Live Planet is similar to other Social Networking sites but with new design and fast user interface.

Features :

1. It has integration of Windows Live Messenger with the Windows Live Planet service. You can chat with your MSN friends at bottom left side corner of the window.

2. It has something called Scribble pad (remembers me the Scrapbook feature of Orkut), you can scribble your friends up to 150 characters in length.

3. Good looking Design and User Interface.

4. It can tell you how much you “Match” with your friends, which any other social networking site doesn’t tell you!

5. Most of the controls and features are fast and I’m loving it!

6. The website uses Windows Live Hotmail account to login, so no need to create an account.

7. You can invite all your friends from other social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace , LinkedIn or you can invite them using email contacts.

All you need to do is complete your profile and Windows Live Planet will open up a whole new world!

If Microsoft is doing it you have to get on board. But there are too many networks already.

this site is actually pretty interesting, the part I like the best is you don’t hv to get stuck here like orkut or facebook to stay in touch with your friends. You can carry your buddy list wherever you go and whenever you access Windows live messngr… infact I used to go to just select cyber cafes where Hotmail messenger is installed….but now I can chat wt my messenger friends from any cyber café since all I hv to do is open the site…its pretty convenient…
