Hello,This blog is Now with Google Pagerank One. Thanks to Google and My Readers. I was wondering how Google assigns Pagerank to blogs and websites? then after a deep search i came out with some results and i thought of sharing it with you. Hereafter Pagerank will be denoted by PR in this post.

First of all Google decides PR of a blog/website through its Content,Backlink,Site Structure and Domain trust, etc etc ..

Some friends told me they got headache when they got stuck to these backlinks subject. What is backlinks? What is Pagerank? How to get backlinks for our site? How many backlinks do we really need to get certain PageRank?

What is Backlink ?
Back links are also known as Reciprocal Links. A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other’s web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites. Eg : You can see my Sidebar with a heading Must Visit – This is called backlinking sites !

Backlinks can help to increase traffic to your web site in two ways.

1. You will probably have some viewers visit your site from clicking the reciprocal link directly.
2. Most Internet search engines also take into account the number of websites which contain links to your web site; the more hyperlinks to your site found, the higher up in the search engine rankings (depending on the search term) you’ll find your site.

Now let’s skip all the prologues, and get the party started.

How many backlinks do we really need to get certain PageRank?

How many is it Really?

You may take a look at the table below closely.

How to Read this Table?

Pagerank

Here’s how to read it :

To get a PR [ … ] – You need backlinks from PR [ … ] – = [ … ] backlinks.

Example : Say, you need to get a PR 5

To get a PR [ 5 ] — You need backlinks from PR [ 3 ] — = [ 555 ] backlinks.
To get a PR [ 5 ] — You need backlinks from PR [ 6 ] — = [ 3 ] backlinks.
It’s that simple.

Search engines often use the number of backlinks that a website has as one of the most important factors for determining that website’s search engine ranking. Websites often employ various techniques (called search engine optimization) to increase the number of backlinks pointing to their website.

Check your website backlinks with Back link Checker tool that enables you to know the number of websites who have given a link to your website or webpage.

Well, if you’re an algebra freak, great at numbers, and playin’ around with some mathematical formulas don’t give you headaches, you should invite your self to do this pagerank algorithmic calculation, with backlinks as the main cross-calculated subject.

GO to Ian Roger’s site, he wrote a paper about this PageRank algorithm titled The Google Pagerank Algorithm and How It Works.

I think there is a pacing and a relevance issue, too. This is the second professional services site, this one in corporate culture and business ethics, I am carefully building-up onto the front pages. I think you need to add at least a degree of value, not just the "Hiya, well said" stuff, or else there is nothing to rate via content value. My second point is to be persistent but gradual. I aim for three links per day, every day, at least one by way of blog/article, one by value-add link and perhaps one elsewhere simply by way of listing. I think that's a good spread – and the success on search engines confirms it is. Malcolm Evans, The Cultureship Practice.
