Until now, Youtube was very popular for user generated videos. But now Google has decided to offer premium content in the form of movies and TV shows freely via Youtube. Apart from the Hollywood movies, you can also watch bollywood movies like Hera Pheri, Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Deewana. However the movies and TV shows will be sponsored and supported by ads and the revenue shared with content owners.

Google had to find ways to monetize Youtube as it loses heavily on bandwidth costs through this video sharing platform.Youtube almost accounts for two-thirds of all video views in the U.S. It is also one of the most visited video sites across the globe. Youtube hopes to generate more revenue through these ads that are also placed into the ad breaks of TV programs, watched online. However the content that is currently offered, is more than a decade old, and it can only hope to do better than sites like Hulu, if it offers the latest movies and TV shows.
You can expect to see more Hollywood and and Bollywood movies on Youtube.Enjoy watching your favorite movies at http://youtube.com/movies !!
