About the Movie:Beliving astrological amends, a father leaves his son in kasi. Rudhra (Arya) grows up in the midst of Saadhu and Sanyasins and become one with gory looks. Meanwhile, the father goes in search of his son to Varanasi. Shocked to see his son in such state, he decides to bring him back to his home. because his(Arya) mother wants to see him. He faces problem in his Home town and his encounters in Tamilnadu and turn of events after he leaves to Varanasi forms the story. This is Theme based movie and not a subject made for hero.

This is Bala’s fourth directorial venture after Sethu, Nandha and Pithamagan.

A total of 450 physically challenged children and elders form part of the movie. Their acting is simply superb. Making audience to fell in tears.

Over 48 physically challenged persons, who know nothing about cinema had been to Chennai to dub in their own voice. A team of doctors attended them in case of emergency during the shoot.

Ilayaraja was mightily impressed seeing the film and wondered the work to be done for re-recording.(Amazing background score)

Its sure an Award winning flim. Ahmsavardhini(pooja) has done a fantablous acting. Stunned with her performance during last 20 minutes of the film. Patience need to watch the film.
